• Marketing Associates:

Seeking 2-3 full-time Marketing Associates to implement marketing plans involving advertising, sales, public relations, graphics, publications, promotions, website, etc. for approximately 25 shows per year plus classes. Salary, housing assistance. Available immediately.

• Bookkeeper:

Seeking part-time Bookkeeper to assist in inputing data into Quickbooks and preparing reports as needed for board members, management staff, and auditor. Non-profit accounting experience helpful. Available immediately.

• Development Associate:

Seeking full-time Development Associate to assist with annual membership campaign (solicitation, acknowledgement, record-keeping for individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations, and government agencies), Capital / Special Major Gifts Campaign (setting appointments, developing presentation materials, prospect research, etc.), and special events. Available immediately.

• Production Manager / Stage Manager:

Seeking enthusiastic experienced manager to work with staff, interns, and volunteers on productions for three theatre facilities, national tours, facilities maintenance and renovation, possible design assignments, etc. Technical Direction and Stage Management experience necessary as duties include operating lights and sound for some shows.  Lighting skills most important, followed closely by sound.  Ability to multi-task is a must.

Auditioning for Downstairs Cabaret Theatre

DCT is always on the look-out for local and non-local talent. We produce a wide variety of shows over the course of our year-round season, from musicals and cabaret artists, to issue-oriented dramas and new works.

We hold local auditions regularly throughout the year, and schedule auditions in New York City for specific projects.
