• Marketing & Development Director

Full-time. Create and implement marketing plan (advertising, public and media relations, promotions) for productions, institution, and outreach; create marketing materials (brochures, flyers, advertisements, website, social media blasts); cultivate donor base of individual and business donors for annual membership campaign; write foundation grant proposals for annual campaign and co-sponsorship opportunities; plan and oversee special events/fundraisers; supervise staff and volunteers as needed. Assist with administrative and production needs when possible. Salary, housing assistance. Available immediately.

• Sales:

Full-time or part-time self-starter needed to call past, present, and future donors to the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre to encourage them to renew their membership or join as new members. Also looking for people to focus on Group Sales / Private Performances / Rentals; Business and Professional Memberships Program; Capital / Special Major Gifts Campaign. Stipend and commission structure. Available immediately.

• Marketing Associates:

Seeking 2-3 full-time Marketing Associates to implement marketing plans involving advertising, sales, public relations, graphics, publications, promotions, website, etc. for approximately 15 shows per year plus classes. Stipend, housing assistance. Available immediately.

• Production Manager/Technical Director:

Seeking production professional to coordinate production logistics with staff, apprentices, volunteers and guest artists for three theatre facilities, national and regional tours, facilities maintenance and renovation, possible design assignments, etc. Technical theatre and stage management experience required. Sound expertise a plus, ability to multi-task is a must. Stipend, housing assistance. Available immediately.

• Stage Managers:

Seeking enthusiastic experienced stage managers to work with staff, interns, and volunteers on productions for three theatre facilities, national tours, facilities maintenance and renovation, possible design assignments, etc. Technical Direction and Stage Management experience necessary as duties include operating lights and sound for some shows.  Lighting skills most important, followed closely by sound.  Ability to multi-task is a must.

• Artistic Associates:

Energetic self-starters needed to assist Producing Director with supervising internship / apprenticeship program, possible directing, arranging auditions / casting, researching projects, dramaturgy, contracting, and other duties. Stipend, housing assistance.
