Peter & Will Anderson Trio

The Peter & Will Anderson Trio are one of the most exciting sibling teams performing in music today.  They are most known for their ingenious arrangements of American jazz classics and fresh original music.

Peter and Will have headlined at The Blue Note, The Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Sarasota Florida Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Seattle’s Triple Door, South Carolina’s Jazz Corner, Miami-Dade’s Cultural Arts Center , Arizona Music Festival and Iowa’s Bix Beiderbecke Festival.  Their ensamble has performed in over 30 U.S. states, and toured Japan.  They have also been featured four times in NYC’s famed “Highlights of Jazz” series alongside legends Paquito D’Rivera, Lou Donaldson and Wycliffe Gordon.

Originally from Washington DC, they were selected as teenagers for Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead, the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, and NFAA Young Artists.   Peter and Will attended Julliard in New York City where they currently live.  They have appeared with the Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Jazz @ Lincoln Center Orchestra, Jimmy Heath Big Band, and Bob Wilber Sextet.  Peter and Will’s 2012 release for Smalls records, Correspondence, features Kenny Barron and was listed in Vanity Fair magazine alongside Miles Davis in “Four New Releases to Make You Love Jazz.”
