Roisin Dubh
Roisin Dubh ("Ro-sheen dove"; The Black Rose) is a unique music program (East Rochester High School) that performs the traditional music of Ireland in authentic traditional and contemporary styles. Since 2001, Roisin Dubh has performed more than 300 times, released four albums, and shared the stage with some of the top Irish musicians from our region and the world. Roisin Dubh was one of only four student ensembles from the U.S invited to perform at the National Music Student Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City, and has been heard on NPR's famous Thistle and Shamrock.
Roisin Dubh will have one performance only: Saturday, March 16 at 8:00pm. 3450 Winton Place, Brighton-Henrietta. Tickets are $15 (discounts for seniors, full-time students, military personnel, groups, and current DCT members). Seating is reserved for parties of five or more and DCT members of $100.00 or more.
